Alberta Environment and Protected Areas emissions standards and the emissions trading system are based on individual generating units. Emissions baselines, credit generation and credit use are also tied to individual units. The accounts listed here are for individual generating units and provide basic information on the units as well as their baseline application materials.

In addition to these accounts, companies or individuals may also open accounts to enable the trading of credits. For information on opening an account please see here.
